Rhythm: Productivity for Women
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 12, 2026
Mego Labs ("we," "us," or "our") developed Rhythm: Productivity for Women (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, how that information is stored, and how privacy works when you use Rhythm.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Rhythm is designed as a local-first app, which means your cycle, journal, and reminder data stays on your device.
Information Collection and Use
Rhythm stores the information you choose to enter in the App.
Types of Data Stored
The App may store the following information on your device:
Onboarding answers
Period dates
Period duration
Cycle length
PCOS selection
EWCM logs
Selected journal items
Daily journal entries
Phase assignments
Reminder preferences
Local subscription status
How We Use Your Data
Rhythm uses your on-device data to:
Calculate cycle phase estimates
Show habit and body-signal insights
Display cycle history
Schedule local reminders if you enable them
Unlock subscription features
Local Storage Only
Your cycle, journal, PCOS, EWCM, reminder, and app settings data is stored locally on your device.
We do not operate a backend server for this data. Rhythm does not upload your cycle, journal, PCOS, EWCM, reminder, or app settings data to Mego Labs.
Analytics or Tracking
Rhythm does not collect:
Analytics data
Crash analytics
Advertising identifiers
Precise location
Contacts
Photos
Cross-app tracking data
We do not sell, rent, share, or use your data for advertising.
Third-Party Services
Rhythm uses Apple StoreKit for purchases and subscriptions.
Apple StoreKit
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may process payment, Apple ID, transaction, and subscription information under Apple's own privacy policy and App Store terms.
Rhythm only uses StoreKit entitlement information needed to unlock paid features in the App.
Notifications
If you allow reminders, Rhythm schedules local notifications on your device.
Notification permission and delivery are handled by iOS. You can change or disable notifications in Rhythm or in iOS Settings.
Data Storage and Security
Rhythm stores App data locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage systems.
Because Rhythm does not operate a backend server for your cycle, journal, PCOS, EWCM, reminder, or app settings data, we do not store that data on Mego Labs servers.
Please note that no device or software system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Retention and Deletion
Rhythm does not currently include a separate in-app delete or reset option in the release app.
Deleting the App removes Rhythm’s local app data from your device. If your device backups include app data, backup copies may remain under Apple’s backup behavior until those backups are deleted or overwritten.
Children’s Privacy
Rhythm is intended for menstruating users age 16 and older.
The App is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Rhythm changes.
When we do, the updated Privacy Policy will be available in the App. Continued use of Rhythm after an update means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
